Hasegawa's 1/48 Typhoon appeared in my very first SAMI magazine article in 2016, it reappeared a couple of years later in Model Aircraft magazine, and still resides in Jay's own collection.

Eduard's original tool Bf109G-6, featuring Brassin engine and cockpit, cannon and wheels. Featured in SAMI September 2016 and again in 2019 in a retrospective article.

Eduard 48th scale kits: Together they appeared in a double feature in SAMI in February 2017. The Spitfire appeared on its own in MAM a couple of years later. The Messerschmitt now resides with a Russian collector.

Trumpeter's flawed 48th scale Fairey Firefly which required considerable re-working. Commissioned by AMW magazine in 2019.

Revell's 72nd scale Tornado. Used as a test piece to explore pre-shading techniques before they became de riguour. Dates back to the early 1990's.

The 144th Great Wall Vulcan, appeared in SAMI and now resides in Jay's own collection.

The flawed 48th scale ICM Ju88, greatly improved by the addition of resin engines, cockpit and sundry other details. Commissioned by SAMI, and appeared over two issues in December 2016 and January 2017. Resides in a private collection.

Fujimi 1/72 scale Phantom - probably dating back to the 1990's - that remains in Jay's collection.

Airfix 1/48th Boulton Paul Defiant. Commissioned by Airfix Model World and appeared in a special pull-out supplement: 100 Years of Humbrol - Painting With Enamels

Zoukei Mura's 48th scale F4-E Phantom II was a private commission completed in 2021. (See the Commissions page for estimated costs).

Commissioned by AMW for a 100th anniversary special publication commemorating Humbrol enamels.

Italeri 1/48th scale Hawker Hurricane. A test piece, utilising enamels, blending variations of tone directly onto the model using a soft brush and white spirit. Resides in Jay's studio
